Champion Fiberglass® has been recognized again by CompositesWorld as one of 10 top-performing composite fabricators globally. The company has received the honor of being named a Top Shop for five years running – each year since the program began.

Together with Gardner Intelligence, CompositesWorld benchmarks composite fabricators globally in various metrics, including capacity utilization, scrap rate, lead times, industries served, manufacturing processes, and more. Each fabricator must submit a detailed survey to be considered.

Jan Schafer of Gardner Intelligence notes that “Top Shops, by definition, perform at higher levels than ‘other’ shops on multiple metrics. Looking at this year’s data, one metric on which CW Top Shops and other shops have diverged in a pretty big way for the past two years is capacity utilization. A related metric, uptime, shows a parallel relationship.”

Reflecting on 2023 and the company’s continued success, founder and executive chairman, Goran Haag explains, “As a company, we just keep growing, and we have had some big orders in the last year. We also have a great team that continually strives to do more, I can’t say enough about them.
