About Champion Fiberglass
Headquartered in Spring, Texas, Champion Fiberglass is the leading supplier of fiberglass conduit and strut to the industrial, electrical and mechanical markets. With the most advanced production facility for manufacturing fiberglass conduit in North America, where the company’s proprietary high-speed winding process and high-temperature curing ovens are key to the consistency and quality of these versatile products.
Beginning its production of epoxy fiberglass conduit and fittings in 1988, Champion Fiberglass has steadily grown to reach a number of milestones throughout the years.
- In 1989, Champion Fiberglass developed the first conduit from epoxy resins that had flame resistance and low smoke characteristics, meeting the most stringent codes and specifications.
- With the arrival of Champion Haz Duct® (XW Type fiberglass conduit) in 2008, the company could now provide conduit for Class 1, Div 2 installations, per the National Electrical Code (NEC).

Goran graduated with a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from RIT (Royal Institute of Technology) in his hometown of Stockholm, Sweden. He worked in the chemical industry in Europe and Asia before coming to the United States in 1986. Goran was one of the two original founders in 1988 of Champion Fiberglass, Inc. and is the sole owner since 2008. Goran is active in NFPA, NEMA, NEMRA, ASTM and many other professional organizations.
Robert, or Bob, as his friends and colleagues call him, has spent his professional career of 35 years in the electrical industry and is a seasoned sales professional. Over the last 24 years, he served as a regional sales manager with Wheatland Tube Company, a major steel conduit and fittings manufacturer. Prior to that, Bob was a regional manager for GEC, an international lighting and enclosure manufacturer. While at GEC, Bob helped pioneer the Vynckier line of fiberglass enclosures in the United States. Bob is responsible for sales in the Western U.S. and select territories in Canada.
Scott’s career spans 25+ years within the construction, manufacturing and distribution industries. Most recently, Scott served as general manager at Unistrut Construction–Specialty Contracting, a unit of Unistrut International Company and one of the Atkore International brands. For the seven years prior, Scott was national sales manager for the Fiberglass Strut & Support Systems of T.J Cope. In previous years, we worked in sales and marketing at Robroy Industries, developing specialty products and programs as well as managing agency relationships within the cable tray market. Today, Scott is responsible for managing territories and representation within the Central United States and Canada. He attended Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics and College of Allegheny County.
Kent brings over thirty years of sales experience within the electrical industry. Most recently, he was a principal of Pinnacle Sales in Utah. Prior to that, Kent served as Vice President for Porter Brown Sales for 14+ years. He attended Weber State University. Kent embodies the perfect combination of industry experience, knowledge, professionalism and temperament. Kent is responsible for sales in the Southwestern US and Canada.
Marissa graduated with a B.S. in Accounting from University of the East in her hometown of Manila, Philippines, where she also became a CPA. Before joining Champion Fiberglass, she worked in accounting in Manila for The Peninsula Manila hotel for 26 years (part of the international Peninsula Hotel Group). There, she was involved in all aspects of accounting. She joined Champion Fiberglass in October of 2007 as a Controller. She is responsible for the company’s accounting, and making sure everything is within the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Kyle graduated with a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Florida in Gainesville. He has 25 years experience in the thermoset chemical industry. He has held positions as Plant Technical Manager with Reichhold Chemicals in Houston, Texas; Quality, Engineering and Plant Manager with Columbia Industries in San Antonio, Texas; Quality and Marble Plant Manager with Royal Baths in Houston, Texas and Marble Operations Manager with Venetian Marble in San Antonio, Texas. Kyle joined Champion Fiberglass in July 2010 and is responsible for production management.
Israel graduated with a BBA from LeTourneau University in Houston Texas. He has more than 20 years of experience in composites manufacturing. Israel’s experience started as an assembly helper and has worked many different areas in operation and production. He has served as a Manufacturing/Production Manager since 2006 and understands all stages of manufacturing processes and lean practices. During his career, Israel managed many different projects with companies such as Halliburton, Baker Oil Tools, Schlumberger and Weatherford. Israel joined Champion Fiberglass in May of 2014 and is responsible for production management.
Jackie brings extensive experience from both the public and private sectors. She retired after 20 years as the Community Development Block Grant Administrator for the City of Fort Collins, Colorado. She was also the office manager in a medical office for five years before relocating to The Woodlands, Texas. She joined Champion Fiberglass in 2009 and became the Human Resources Manager in 2011.
Ria graduated with a BS in chemical engineering from the Technological Institute of the Philippines in 1987. After that she had her own construction business as well as other ventures. After arriving in the US, she furthered her education in the medical field. Ria joined the Champion Fiberglass team in 2015 in production planning and in 2016 she became purchasing manager.
Paul Casano graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) in December of 2017, and upon his graduation was named the Engineering Manager for Champion Fiberglass. Paul has been part of Champion Fiberglass since his graduation from high school in 2012, first as a full-time Production Assistant, then as Engineering Assistant. While filling these roles, he was also finishing his degree plan, first at Lone Star College, then at the University of Houston.
