Pole Risers

Utility Risers

Like Champion Fiberglass® Elbows, Champion Fiberglass® Utility Risers offer the same light weight, corrosion resistance and low coefficient of friction when installing cable to a meter box or electrical panel. Utility risers can be made with many different combinations of fittings and tangent lengths to meet whatever installation situation there is. Utility Risers can be made & shipped with customer specific transitions (PVC couplers, PVC stubs, Fiberglass or PVC Male Adapter/Female Adapters, etc.)

Pole Risers

Champion Pole Risers provide transition for cables between overhead and underground portions of the electrical distribution system while adhering to safety standards and capacity requirements. They offer light weight, corrosion resistance and low coefficient of friction for maximum performance. Pole Risers can be made & shipped with customer specific transitions (End Bells, PVC couplers, PVC stubs, Fiberglass or PVC Male Adapter/Female Adapters, etc.)

Utility & Pole Risers
Advantages

Champion Conduit Utility and Pole Risers offer the following benefits:

better performance
Enhanced performance over the other conduit systems
  • Light weight contributes to installation ease, savings and safety
  • Corrosion resistance to many chemicals
  • Cable fault resistance — fiberglass duct will not melt or weld the wire to the inside of the conduit under fault conditions
  • Durability
  • UV Resistance
  • Fault-resistance
  • One of the lowest coefficients of friction of any in-market product
  • Ability to retain its shape after impact or compression
  • Withstands extreme conditions and temperatures
Expanded Support
Lower installation costs

Because of their corrosion resistance, fiberglass conduit utility and pole risers eliminate the labor and material costs commonly associated with wrapping GRC risers with costly non-corrosive tape.
