Matthew Bednarz recently joined Champion Fiberglass® after graduating from Texas A&M University. He was attracted to the company’s rich culture and recent growth and is excited to learn and grow in his new position. Get to know this new team member.
Tell us about your role at Champion Fiberglass®. When did you start?
I started in May 2026 as an inside sales representative. My responsibilities include providing quotes, processing orders, and delivering excellent customer service.
Tell us about your background.
Prior to my position at Champion Fiberglass, I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Distribution. During my time in college, I completed an internship with Winsupply.
What attracted you to the role at Champion Fiberglass?
More than anything, working for the industry leader in a booming market was most attractive. I was drawn to the company’s rich culture and the opportunity for growth.
How do you spend your time when not working?
Outside of work, I enjoy boating, fishing, and snorkeling. Additionally, I value my faith, family, and time spent with friends.
Tell us something people might not know about you.
I have a keen interest in military aviation and WWII history. I especially enjoy aviation movies and WWII documentaries.
What are you excited about personally and/or professionally this year?
First and foremost, I am excited to continue growing my professional skills in inside sales. Next, I’m eager to learn more about the processes behind Champion Fiberglass’s high-quality products and exceptional customer service. Personally, I look forward to my annual family vacation to the Abaco Islands where I’ll be spearfishing for lobster and grouper.
