Tell us about your role at Champion FiberglassⓇ.
My role at Champion Fiberglass is Project Specialist. As the Project Specialist, I have a hand in controlling all the key functioning aspects such as purchasing, production planning, production coordinating and inventory management as well as problem solving system issues throughout the office.
Tell us about your background.
I was born and raised in Houston. I have spent much of my career in the oil and gas industry. Early in my career, I started as an operator on various machines that provide well boring, hole finishing, O.D. turning machining and related machining services to meet customer needs. While working as a machine operator I was able to obtain my degree and shortly after I was promoted to Production Planner. I have about eight years of experience in production planning.
What attracted you to the role at Champion Fiberglass?
What attracted me to Champion Fiberglass was that time after time the company has proven to be a market leader with a culture driven by continuous improvement and growth. I wanted to be a part of this!
Additionally, after my interview, I was able to tour Champion Fiberglass and there was a distinct family-oriented environment that attracted me to the company.
How do you spend your time when not working?
When not working, I spend most of my time engaging with my family. I have two beautiful girls and an amazing wife waiting for me at home every day. I also enjoy playing sports such as soccer and anything that keeps me active.
Tell us something people might not know about you.
I am a big soccer fan. I mostly follow European leagues and my favorite team is Real Madrid.
What are you most excited about for 2024, personally or professionally?
Professionally, I am most excited about learning more about our ERP system while helping bring forward new processes. Personally, I am looking forward to watching my girls grow and spending time with family.
