Tell us about your role at Champion Fiberglass®.

At Champion Fiberglass®, I assist and support our production team with any process or quality issues in the manufacturing of all products. I also support and assist our engineering team in innovating our current and new production lines. Additionally, I manage material safety data information and maintain, manage, and issue equipment to ensure that Champion Fiberglass stays in compliance with ISO-9001 standards.

Tell us about your background.

I grew up in Gary, Indiana and moved to Houston in 2007 where I managed a small car dealership for five years. While working as a manager in the day, at night I attended Houston Community College for automotive technology. I received my Automotive Technical Certification and became an automotive technician for a repair shop. In 2012, I shifted my career to the oil and gas industry and started a job at Trelleborg Offshore USA. At Trelleborg, I worked in research and development. I was directly involved in many subsea buoyancy projects where the company found much success. I have over five years of experience in the manufacturing of resin and hardeners and the many products that are produced with it, plus five years of quality control experience.
