Champion Fiberglass is pleased to announce that our facility received ISO (International Organization for Standardization) certifications 9001:2015 and 14001:2015 standards (independently certified by AFNOR). Champion Fiberglass is the only conduit-industry business to have received both certifications.
Champion Fiberglass has been ISO 9001 certified for 12 years and was just re-certified for the latest version, ISO 9001:2015. The requirements of ISO 9001:2015 center on quality management systems, and in receiving this certification, our company has shown its ability to “consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements” according to ISO’s rigorous guidelines, as well as showing a demonstrable ability to enhance customer satisfaction through the application of their quality management system.
Our environmental management systems have attained the ISO 14001:2015 certification, the world’s premier environmental management principles. This means that our facility’s environmental management systems achieve enhancement of environmental performance, fulfillment of compliance obligations, and achievement of environmental objectives.
ISO is an internationally recognized organization with membership in 161 national standards bodies. Their stated purpose is to define world-class standards for products, services, and systems – including environmental management systems. We’re pleased to have attained these certifications; going forward, we fully intend to meet and exceed the requirements laid out for maintaining an environmentally sustainable facility and business.
