After months of construction. Champion Fiberglass is excited to announce that our expanded facility and third production line are now open for business.

On May 1, 2019, we officially broke ground on the project that added substantial square footage and expanded our current facility. Extensive site work was also completed during construction. This included adding a retention pond in the back of the property and draining and filling the existing pond in front of our office to make way for parking.

We also made considerable safety improvements including constructing a three-hour firewall between lines two and three, complete with a sprinkler system and a dry fire extinguishing system for our flammable material storage areas.

We’ve made significant strides since a fire devastated our facility in 2016. After the fire, manufacturing was halted for only two and a half months, and we were back to 100% capacity in four months. We are grateful for the help of our incredible partners and the support of our community, as we’ve overcome these challenges.

Now, four years later, we’re excited to begin manufacturing conduit on the new third line using our proprietary high-speed winding process and high-temperature curing ovens, everything fully controlled by computers.

We’ve come a long way since our founding in 1988. We look forward to continuing our mission being the world’s most advanced fiberglass conduit manufacturing facility while we ensure our customers the highest quality products and customer satisfaction available in our industry.
