Tell us about your role at Champion Fiberglass.

I serve as the Inside Sales Supervisor responsible for the Central United States and the Carolinas. My day-to-day tasks are mainly quoting, order entry, expediting and helping our customers with any questions they may have about our products.

Tell us about your background.

I was born and raised in the Houston area; my work career started out in the oil & gas industry. I have about six years in that industry from working in a lab to working for a pipe threading manufacturing company. From there I wanted to expand my knowledge and get into construction as well as grow in my job role. I worked as a Sales Assistant and Project Coordinator for a global automated door company for about two years. My previous work experience and knowledge brought me here to Champion Fiberglass, where I hope to grow and learn all aspects of the business.

What attracted you to the role at Champion Fiberglass?

When I came to tour the facility, everyone made me feel at home and comfortable. Also, I liked that everyone has been here for many years and that everyone I spoke to had nothing but good things to say about working at Champion Fiberglass. I like the family-oriented work environment, and everyone is willing to lend a helping hand. It’s not very often that you find something like that in a company and that means a lot to me.

How do you spend your time when not working?

When I’m not working I like to go on adventures with my family and friends, whether it’s to a new local spot around the Houston area or taking small trips. I also enjoy going to sporting events and playing sports as well.

Tell us something people might not know about you.

I was born with an underdeveloped heart and had to have major heart surgery at 10 days old.

What are you most excited about for 2023, personally and/or professionally?

I am most excited about starting my professional career at Champion Fiberglass and how that will help me grow as a person outside of my professional career.
